Dr. Baroonian is the principal in charge of B & B Associates, Inc. He has over thirty years of structural design experience; 25 with B&B Associates, Inc. As a licensed structural engineer and principal, he is responsible for supervising all phases of project development, from structural design and system selection, to construction administration. He has engineered a variety of projects from minor remodels and retrofits to major complexes. He is well versed in alternative structural systems, construction materials, interdisciplinary design coordination, and project quality control. He has extensive experience with Charter Schools, DSA and OSHPD projects.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:
Peter Maranian graduated with a First Class Honors from The Polytechnic of Central London, England in 1970. After 11 years of structural design experience in England, he has had nearly 39 years of structural design experience with Brandow & Johnston. As a licensed structural engineer and Principal, he has been responsible for supervising all phases of project development, structural design and system selection, seismic design and rehabilitation of major projects, and construction administration.  This included several school buildings along with hospital, office and studio hospital buildings. His experience also included inspection and repair of several steel moment frame buildings following the 1994 Northridge Earthquake. 
 
Peter was past chair and a member of SEAOSC’s Steel Committee and past chair and member of ASCE’s Technical Council for Forensic Engineering having been involved in these committees for over 20 years.
 
Peter has participated in several publications primarily on steel related issues and is also the author of a book published by ASCE entitled, Reducing Brittle and Fatigue Failures in Steel Structures, published in 2009. He was recently inducted into SEAOC’s College of Fellows.

Ms. Bedros has over thirty five years of structural engineering design and management experience. As a senior project manager, she is responsible for supervising all phased of project development from structural design and system selection to construction administration. Her portfolio of design include hotels, industrial facilities, healthcare facilities and educational facilities. Her experience and expertise with public facilities (DSA), healthcare facilities, hospitals (OSHPD), educational facilities (Charter Schools) and tenant improvement projects has molded Anoush into a very well-rounded structural engineer. Ms. Bedros’ attention to detail and ability to bring projects in on time and on budget regardless of size and scope is extraordinary. She is comfortable taking on challenging projects and providing safe and high-quality design solutions for our clients.
